I've been there; exactly what you're talking about Rajesh. Thanks for sharing. A culture of openness is easier said than done, I'd love to see a follow up to this article about how it's done.

I recognize the scenario of anonymous feedback, having been on the pointy end, as Linda calls it. Clearly, someone wanted me to leave and with that kind of environment, I did. Best career move ever for me.

Brilliant! And so very much wisdom and truth here. I’ve also been at the pointy end of the stick with anon feedback delivered to me by managers and feeling helpless.

I wonder where the balance lies in the request for feedback too? Some companies seem to do it sporadically and hardly at all from my experience. Maybe that’s an article for another day!

There was a small company where the CEO used to read out loud all feedback received via suggestion boxes. I don't recall what changed, but i do recall that managers were scared. I don't think that was the best approach either.
